Janice Nicholson joins as Vice-President, Digital and Geoff Turner appointed Vice-President

Ottawa, ON – Bluesky Strategy Group (Bluesky), a full-service public affairs firm with nearly two decades of extensive experience working with clients, today announced that Janice Nicholson has joined the Bluesky team as Vice-President, Digital. A senior executive and veteran politico with 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and public affairs, Janice will bring her digital campaign and strategy experience to Bluesky’s clients.

“Janice brings to Bluesky Strategy Group a unique combination of digital and strategic communications campaign experience with an extensive understanding of public policy, not-for-profit and private sector audiences,” said Susan Smith, Principal and Co-Founder.

Most recently the Director of Communications for the Stem Cell Network, Janice also led the dynamic digital marketing strategy for the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club and spent more than a decade establishing and driving digital communications in Toronto at SickKids, Canada’s largest children’s hospital.

Bluesky Strategy Group is also pleased to announce that Geoff Turner has been appointed to Vice-President. Geoff, who joined Bluesky in May of 2018, will continue to provide clients with leadership and expertise in the natural resources, infrastructure and clean energy sectors, and leverage his experience in finance and the budget process to help clients and their projects stand out. He also serves as secretary on the Board of Directors for The Canadian Club of Ottawa, one of Canada’s premiere speakers’ forums.
