Originally from Greece and educated in Scotland and Canada, Angelo brings a distinctive perspective to Canadian public affairs, government relations, and advocacy.
Drawing on experience in communications, policy, and stakeholder engagement, Angelo advises organizations across the manufacturing, agriculture, mining, association, and non-profit sectors on complex regulatory, legislative, and public policy issues. He has helped clients secure regulatory approvals, advance policy and legislative priorities, access government funding opportunities, and build relationships with decision-makers across government. His work has included engagement with departments such as Natural Resources Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, as well as supporting clients on files involving central agencies and senior political offices.
Prior to joining Bluesky, Angelo worked in communications and advocacy at Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada, where he supported national advocacy campaigns on issues affecting Canada’s consumer products sector including the landmark campaign to establish a Grocery Sector Code of Conduct.
Angelo holds an MA in Political Science from Carleton University and a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Stirling. He is active in Ottawa’s civic and community sectors through multiple board directorships and volunteer service.
