Dakota Burgin comes to Bluesky with over 10 years of experience in visual communications and digital marketing, earned in the offices of Canadian Cabinet Ministers and by serving clients in the global entertainment industry. Their words and images have seen the screens and doorsteps of millions of Canadians through national campaigns and touched some of this century’s most beloved intellectual property.
During their time in politics, they communicated on ministerial portfolios like Health, Labour, and Justice, and specially served communities in rural and Northern Ontario, Québec, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia.
Dakota was born and raised in rural Ontario, holds a baccalaureate degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Ottawa. Their love of language, typography, and visual storytelling compels them through the design and execution of each campaign and communications product.
