With a background in public policy research, Manuela brings a strong understanding of how government decision-making works in Canada and how organizations can effectively shape public policy to advance their priorities. Her expertise spans a range of policy-driven sectors including manufacturing, transportation, critical minerals, pharmaceutical, non-profit, and labour.
Manuela specializes in regulatory strategy, with much of her work focused on influencing policy outcomes that affect Canada’s industrial and innovation economy. She has extensive experience working on issues related to consumer product safety and compliance, environmental and chemical management, sustainability mandates, cross-border trade and market access, immigration and workforce development, as well as the federal financial incentives that support major resource and capital projects.
She is highly experienced in securing government funding and has helped drive several successful applications that have unlocked support for multi-million-dollar projects across multiple industries.
Manuela holds a bachelor’s degree in Global and International Studies with a specialization in Global Politics from Carleton University, where she graduated with high distinction and ranked in the top three percent of students in the Faculty of Public Affairs.
