What We Delivered
Bluesky has provided ongoing support for Agnico Eagle with federal and provincial government relations services since 2019. The Government of Canada is an important partner in the Arctic, with direct responsibility for regulatory and permitting matters in Nunavut, as well as multiple policy initiatives and support programs for key needs such as economic and social infrastructure, clean energy, Inuit workforce and skills development, and community and Indigenous priorities.
Long headquartered in Ontario, Agnico Eagle has rapidly grown its operating footprint in the province since 2021 through a series of new development opportunities and a major merger with a significant Ontario-based gold mining peer. Bluesky has supported growing Queen’s Park relationships, identifying and managing regulatory and permitting issues, and fostering good jobs and training opportunities for workers.
